Apple Airpods – Apple Crosstech Mon, 21 Nov 2022 08:12:07 +0000 en-US hourly 1 Apple Airpods – Apple Crosstech 32 32 AirPods Max to iMac M1: 5 Apple devices that haven’t updated in a while Mon, 21 Nov 2022 08:12:07 +0000 Apple has had quite a busy year so far, since the very beginning of the year. The tech giant launched Mac Studio and iPhone SE 3 in March, followed by the iPhone 14 series in September, then came the new 10th generation iPad and updated Apple TV in October. With no new announcements expected anytime soon, suffice it to say that Apple is done with launches for this year. Throughout the year, Apple has updated a handful of products, except for a few that have yet to receive hardware upgrades despite multiple rumors surrounding them since the start of the year.

Here are five Apple products that haven’t been updated in years.

” id=”yt-wrapper-box” >

AirPods Max

The AirPods Max are great hardware. Possibly the best headphones Apple has released so far. At Rs 60,000, these are Apple’s most expensive pair of headphones. While some of the users liked the AirPods Max, others complained that the sound quality did not match the price. The mixed response to the AirPods Max has us wondering if Apple is even considering a sequel to the over-ear headphones. In May 2021, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said Apple was not working on second-generation AirPods Max. The status of the AirPods Max 2 is therefore unclear. If Apple releases the AirPods Max 2 next year, Cupertino should make some design changes, but also focus on improving sound and adding support for lossless audio. Pricing is another area that should be addressed whenever second-generation cans hit retail shelves.

iMac M1

Presented in April 2021, the iMac M1 is almost two years old. The redesigned iMac M1 debuted a 24-inch display with thinner bezels, an M1 processor, bright, fun colors, and a six-speaker system. Since the iMac was completely redesigned two years ago, we expect Apple to update the all-in-one computer with either an M2 chip or an unannounced M3 chip. According to Gurman, Apple may not announce a new iMac until late 2023. There have been no concrete rumors that Apple is planning to release the updated iMac, but be aware that the current iMac M1 model is a fantastic AIO with quite good performance for basic computing tasks.

Apple launched its new high-end, high-speed Mac Pro in 2019. The desktop computer, which runs an Intel chip, is still available for purchase starting at $5,999. (Image credit: Apple)

Mac Pro

When Apple teased a new Mac Pro at its “Peek Performance” event earlier this year, many thought the launch would take place this year. A few months have passed since then and there’s no word from Apple on the updated Mac Pro. The existing Mac Pro was last updated in 2019 and while Cupertino launched a professional-grade Mac Studio earlier this year, it’s not a replacement for the Mac Pro. Apple is rumored to be working on a smaller Mac Pro that will ship with the “M2 Ultra” and “M2 Extreme” chips. The current Mac Pro is one of the last Intel Macs you can still buy. Apple is also expected to introduce a “Pro” version of Studio Display with a mini-LED panel and support for ProMotion.

mac mini intel

With the low-end Mac mini last updated with Apple’s custom M1 chip in 2020, the high-end Intel-powered model hasn’t been updated since 2018. The question is which is the future of the high-end Mac mini in Apple’s Mac lineup. ? At Rs 64,900, the base Mac mini is the most affordable Mac on the market, good enough for average users. A step-up model should be radically different from the entry-level Mac mini. Rumors suggest Apple is working on a supercharged version of the Mac mini with a slimmer design and “plexiglass top.” The device can be powered by Apple’s M2 Pro and M2 Max chips. Given the new design and powerful internals, we expect the high-end Mac mini to cost more than the current entry-level model.

Apple discontinued the HomePod in 2021 without announcing a direct replacement. (Image credit: Anuj Bhatia/Indian Express)

It’s been over a year since Apple discontinued the original HomePod. Although the premium smart speaker hasn’t been as successful as Apple had initially hoped, Cupertino is already working on a sequel that should arrive in 2023. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims the new HomePod will look and sound like the original model. Gurman expects the HomePod 2 to feature an updated chip, which will allow Siri to respond to user queries faster. Not much is known about the second-generation HomePod beyond the chipset at this time, but Apple hasn’t given up on its intention to exit the high-end smart speaker market and that’s a good sign. .

How to connect AirPods to Chromebook in three easy steps Tue, 15 Nov 2022 06:11:07 +0000

(Pocket-lint) – Trying to figure out how to connect your AirPods to a Chromebook? Or how to disconnect them? AirPods pair very seamlessly with Apple products, but with other devices from other manufacturers, such as Chromebooks, it might not feel as intuitive. Fortunately, it’s actually easy to pair AirPods with a Chromebook — or any laptop for that matter — through the laptop’s Bluetooth settings menu. Pocket-lint has detailed every step, regardless of your AirPods model and which manufacturer produces your Chromebook.

It only takes a few seconds to do.

How to Connect AirPods to Chromebook

Before you start

For best results, restart your Chromebook. And make sure your AirPods (if connected to an iPhone or nearby device) aren’t playing any sound from a music or video app. These steps are important because otherwise you might run into problems. Or, if you’re having trouble connecting, this might be the trick you need to finally pair your AirPods with a Chromebook.

Step One: Enable Bluetooth on Your Chromebook

First, let’s make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your laptop.

  1. Turn on your Chromebook.
  2. Go to the menu and look for the Network icon.
    1. It should appear next to the battery percentage and the clock.
    2. It displays options for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, notifications, etc.
  3. In Network, select Bluetooth. Activate the Bluetooth connection if it is deactivated.
  4. Once Bluetooth is enabled, the Chromebook will automatically search for wireless devices.

Step two: Place your AirPods near your Chromebook

Place your AirPods in their charging case near your Chromebook. Make sure the AirPods are charged and stay within 20 feet of the Chromebook to maintain a Bluetooth connection.

Step Three: Pair Your AirPods to Your Chromebook via Bluetooth

If your AirPods don’t automatically appear in your Chromebook’s Bluetooth list, press and hold the Setup button on the back of the AirPods case. They should soon be detected. Next, from the list of available Bluetooth devices, select AirPods. Confirm any prompts that appear on your Chromebook screen. Once complete, your AirPods will be paired with the Chromebook.

How to tell if your AirPods are connected to your Chromebook

Once paired, the LED light on your AirPods case will turn green and the status in the Chromebook’s Bluetooth settings will show as AirPods connected. You can then use the AirPods to listen to all sounds coming from your Chromebook until you disconnect them from the laptop.

To quickly disconnect your AirPods from your Chromebook, simply turn off the Chromebook’s Bluetooth connection. Or, you can press and hold the Pair button on the back of the AirPods case.

It’s the only Apple Arcade game you need to play right now Sat, 29 Oct 2022 08:30:03 +0000

It can be easy to forget about Apple Arcade in a year that has seen the release of Horizon Forbidden West, Elden Ring and the very soon God of War Ragnarök. Mobile gaming seems to become insignificant when major releases are released and cloud gaming on smartphones is increasingly accessible thanks to Xbox Cloud Gaming.

But as Apple Arcade has evolved, it’s become a quiet bastion of excellent mobile games, curated for use on iPad and iPhone. And Bleak Sword is one of those games that caught my eye.

What looks like the most basic games, with a mostly monochrome look and super low-fi pixel graphics, actually hides a surprisingly deep and engaging game that I think is a must-play for anyone trying Apple Arcade.

Created by solo developer More8Bit and published by indie game darling Devolver Digital, Bleak Sword puts you in the boots of a warrior on a journey to lift a curse on the titular sword.

Armed with a sword and shield, you are tasked with slashing your way through a grim land of pixel art dioramas filled with monstrous creatures and beings bent on ending the player’s life with a splash screen of a pixelated red skull filling and devouring the iPhone screen.

You can play the game one-handed, swiping to dodge, holding and swiping in one direction to launch various attacks, and tapping and holding at just the right moment to counter a dreaded blow from a monstrous enemy.
