Did Apple just reveal that the new iPad Air and iPhone SE are coming?

We’re less than three weeks into 2022, but we’ve already heard a ton of Apple rumors. From the iPhone 14 to the company’s elusive VR headset, there are plenty of new products being announced for release in the months — or years — to come. But two of them could be coming very soon.

Regulatory listings suggest a new iPhone and iPad are on the way – and with the iPhone SE 3 and iPad Air 5 heavily rumored for a spring release, we’re willing to bet those are the ones. And the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) listings usually mean one thing: they’re coming soon. (Don’t feel like waiting? Check out the best Apple deals available right now).

As spotted by MacRumors, Russian product repositories list 12 product codes (A2595, A2783, that sort of thing), three of which belong to iPhones and the rest to iPads. The different codes likely correspond to different storage options and colors for each device.

So what can we expect from each device? So far, the iPhone SE 3 rumors haven’t been very inspiring. Looks like we’re in the exact same design (yes, that’s always will look like an iPhone 6) with the addition of 5G support and an improved A15 Bionic chip.

As for the iPad Air 5, the new tablet is rumored to adopt the same dual-camera setup as the iPad Pro, along with the A15 chip. But again, we’re not expecting a new design – and that stunning LED display probably won’t make the switch from Pro to Air this time around.

As with all Apple rumors, time will tell if the above turns out to be true. But if so, the next Apple event could feature a fairly iterative update to both the iPhone SE and iPad Air. Not that it would be a disaster – both are already solid budget devices.
