THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AIRPODS MODELS

After the success of its original AirPods, Apple has since expanded its line to include several other versions. Currently, you can choose between AirPods (2nd Gen) with a standard or wireless charging case, AirPods (3rd Gen), AirPods Pro, or AirPods Max.

AirPods (2nd generation) are the standard option in the lineup and arrive with a universal design, hands-free voice assistance from Siri, and a battery life of around five hours (or up to more than 24 hours with one or more). the other of the charging cases). A pair with the standard charging case will typically set you back $249, while a pair with the wireless charging case (which can be charged with a compatible wireless charger) costs $319.

The AirPods (3rd Gen) are a nice step up from the (2nd Gen) model, offering a streamlined design for a better fit, a wireless charging case, and six hours of battery life (or up to 30 hours with the charging case). The buds are priced at $279, making them even cheaper than the 2nd-gen model (with wireless charging case), so they’re well worth the upgrade.

The AirPods Pro are the premium in-ear headphones in Apple’s lineup and are usually priced at $399. The design features a shorter stem than the original AirPods and includes three flexible silicone tips for a more personalized fit. The Pros also feature active noise cancellation and a Transparency mode that lets you hear what’s going on around you.

The AirPods Max are the first over-ear headphones in the AirPods line and are currently among the best noise-canceling headphones on the market. Similar to AirPods Pro, AirPods Max also has a Transparency mode, which lets you hear what’s going on around you. According to Apple, the pair also offers up to 20 hours of listening time on a single charge, making it a great travel companion.

ARE AIRPODS WORTH IT?

When it comes to buying headphones, whether a pair is “worth it” largely comes down to personal preference. However, all Apple AirPods are high quality, lightweight, include Siri’s hands-free voice assistance, and offer reliable sound and connection. They’re also incredibly easy to pair with other Apple devices, making them ideal for those already part of Apple’s ecosystem.

If you’re not an Apple user, you can also pair them with any Bluetooth device with relative ease. The sound quality of each pair is impressive, with the AirPods (2nd Gen), AirPods (3rd Gen) and AirPods Pro models all widely regarded as some of the best in-ear headphones on the market.

The AirPods Max meanwhile are some of the best noise-canceling headphones you can buy, although rivals like the Bose 700 and Sony WH-1000XM4 are equally impressive and more affordable.

IPHONE 13 VS IPHONE 12

The iPhone 13 is Apple’s latest phone model and improves on the iPhone 12 in almost every significant way. While the iPhone 13 (full size) retains the same 6.1-inch screen size and 2532 x 1170 resolution as the iPhone 12 (full size), it offers a faster processor, better devices photo and approximately two additional hours of battery life. It also comes with additional software features and is available in different color options for the iPhone 12 lineup.

Of course, the iPhone 12 has the advantage of being cheaper than the iPhone 13 ($1,199 total vs. $1,349 total), which will be a big plus for many buyers. iPhone 12 also comes in 64GB capacity while capacity size starts at 128GB for iPhone 13.

Ultimately, both are seriously decent models in their own right. To decide which is right for you, you’ll need to weigh the upgrades seen on the iPhone 13 with its added cost.
