Investors who have invested in major US indices have enjoyed respectable returns since the market bottomed in March 2020. In fact, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (: SPY (NYSE:)), Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (NASDAQ: QQQ ) and SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (NASDAQ: NYSE:) have returned 70.49%, 72.59% and 64.16% since then.
As good as investors in major US indices have had since 2020, a number of retailer-favorite names have fared much better. Tech and entertainment bulls who bought when US markets bottomed in March 2020 and held on for the long haul, despite continued volatility, have been treated to epic returns on their investment.
