From the design revealed by Carl Pei, the Nothing (1) phone seems like a breath of fresh air at a time when smartphone design has become predictable. Pei continues the transparent design philosophy she envisioned for her first product, the Nothing (1) ear.

Besides confirming the use of an aluminum frame, the initial design of the Nothing(1) phone left almost nothing to the imagination. The rear of the phone sports a transparent design, revealing the extremely neat internals, including the wireless charging coil and Nothing branding towards the bottom.

The Nothing(1) phone is expected to launch in India on July 12 at 8:30 p.m. The company should soon start accepting pre-bookings for the device. Interested buyers will be able to reserve the device by paying ₹2,000.

At the moment there is no information on the price of the device. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart in India.
