With the cost of living rocketing, many of us are looking to cut costs.

Unfortunately energy bills are now largely fixed due to the industrial crisis, unless you can cut back on your experience.

But you might still be able to find savings on other essential household issues to help you manage through.

Anyone with unlimited data regarding their mobile phone traffic is likely to perform according to experts.

Ofcom, the telecom regulator, said mobile phone customers use an average of 4.5GB of data per month.

They will offer you unlimited deals that will cost you as much as £35 a month.

Traffic with limited data could be more effective, depending on your experience.

For example, GiffGaff offers 15GB for less than 10£ a month – still well above the usual average.

This means you could save up to £25 a month for unlimited data – or a whopping £300 a year.

Of course you keep as far as you can from the contract, and you’ve been given the custom.

Personal finance expert Pete Chatfield previously told Sol: “Smartphone users who only use their phone for common media feeding, social media and other things that are uneven, can use limited information design, which will often be as much or five times cheaper.”

This is not the only way you can save money on your call costs – here’s more ways to cut your mobile cost bill.

When comparing what’s on offer check out the right speeds or information for your needs.

You don’t want to limit the range of available allowances and pay more than expected, for example, but you don’t want to spend as much money on data that you don’t use.

You will also be able to check your code when you receive it and you can do so using Ofcom coverage checker.

Companies often offer introductory things for new customers and can lower prices even further.

You can also stick to the test with your current provider to match with the cheaper business you’ve found elsewhere.

Martin Lewis previously warned stragglers to be polite and charming when getting your bills depressed.

Virgin Media Company recently launched its £264 a year bill, asking for a discount.

They don’t have a match, but it’s worth a try, and if you can’t, you can always switch to a better deal.

But note that while still moving in contract, it can cost you money on fees issues, so check on it first.

Of course you can save the exact amount depending on how much time you pay and you get a new deal – but you won’t know until you check.
